Is this song making the case for love? I don't know about the 60's, but if you live in post 2000s family law is not kind to men in divorce court. I've heard from many divorced men the best advice someone could have given them is "DON'T TO GET MARRIED." Almost all my friends are divorced. A friend of a friend is married to a nurse who goes to sleep before he gets home and is out the door before he wakes up. Her hobbies keep her busy and he almost never sees her. When I heard his story I just couldn't see the point for him to stay in that marriage. The problem is if he files for divorce he is going to be the big loser and I think he knows it. I wouldn't trade places with them for a million dollars. The grass is always greener on the other side. Trust me, if you're alone and this song is making you think you may be mission out on something. You are. You're missing out on monthly lifetime alimony payments to a woman that you will forever know as you're one big mistake in life. Before getting married think it over at least twice. You owe it to your future depressed penniless self.
